Higher Proof: Gin Tasting

HG’s “Higher Proof” class is a fun, interactive experience with friends to learn about the world of spirits, cocktails, and the culture surrounding them. Learn more about what you love to drink or fall in love with a new one you didn’t know existed.
Each class focuses on a different type of spirit and cocktails surrounding it.
The class is led by Jake Gable, who has nearly a decade of cocktail experience in addition to a passion for the culture and history surrounding spirits and libations.

After quite a few requests, our next course features: Gin.
The class will be held on Sunday, February 25 @ 1:00pm. Spaces are limited. Purchase tickets here before it’s too late.
Over ~90 minutes, Jake will go over the process of how gin is made as well as some history, origins, and classifications of this spirit. He will also provide some facts, legends, and a guided tasting of (5) different gins as well as a couple cocktails featuring those gins.
Tickets will include drinks and tastes throughout the class equal to roughly 3 alcoholic beverages:
– (1) Gin & Tonic upon entry
– (5) Tasting pours (1/4oz. each) of different Gins throughout the class
– (2) Half-Sized Cocktails (one of which will be broken down to try the ingredients individually if desired)
This is a ticketed event. The bar will be closed unless you have pre-purchased a ticket.
